Ingredients
1/4 cup of tapioca pearls
1 chai tea bag (chai masala works best!)
1 1/4 cups of water
1 tbsp of dark brown sugar
2 tbsp of condensed milk
3 ice cubes
Method
Boil the water and add the tapioca pearls. Stir gently.
When the tapioca pearls rise to the top, cover and boil on medium high heat for 2 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let the pearls simmer for 3 minutes.
Rinse and drain under cold water for 20 seconds.
Transfer the pearls to a dry container and stir in the brown sugar.
Meanwhile, prepare the tea according to packet instructions, stir in the condensed milk and sweetener if needed.
Add a ice cubes
In a clear tall glass, spoon in the boba and pour the tea. Make sure you add all the residual brown sugar syrup.
Stir with a long spoon and enjoy !!
